Lead Engineer (Backend Java, Oracle, AWS)

Position Overview

We are hiring Software Engineers who will contributor to our AWS Cloud migration project. The potential candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing applications for the cloud environment which is crucial in ensuring the success of our transformative project

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust and scalable applications using modern development languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate existing applications to the AWS Cloud platform.
• Optimize applications for cloud-native architecture and leverage AWS services for enhanced functionality.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications, ensuring optimal performance in the cloud environment.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in Java development (Java, J2EE, EJB, Spring Framework, etc.,)
• Experience in WebLogic, WebSphere Application Server and Apache Web server
• Proficient in using and understand Oracle and MS SQL Databases
• Proficient in AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Well verses with Agile development preferably using SCRUM framework
• Experience in Liferay development (advantage)
