Position Overview

This candidate will be part of the BSG Planning Group – Entity Tech Plans Office (ETPO) (SingHealth & Agencies) to support the planning for MOHH Entities’ IT technology and demand management of the technology needs.

The candidate will work closely with Entities’ stakeholders and internal Synapxe stakeholders to develop and maintain the entities technology roadmaps, align workplan demands with Synapxe overall technology roadmaps and entities IT masterplans, organize and develop materials for strategic IT work-planning engagement purposes, coordinate the annual workplan and quarterly business planning activities, and participate in entities’ working level forums to represent and coordinate Synapxe related activities and asks.

Reports to Entity Planning Deputy Lead (Deputy Director) for SingHealth & Agencies.

 

Role & Responsibilities

Accountable for the Entity Technology Plans Office operation activities such as following:

  • Organize and conduct weekly entity review sessions on workplan, tracking progress and following up on key open items from previous meetings
  • Assist in organizing and preparing materials for Strategic Planning workshops with respective entities
  • Responsible for the organization and conduct of the Synapxe internal review sessions with SMP on planned workplan items and incoming new initiatives
  • Review annual allocated budget by Cluster/Entity against priority workplans, maintaining oversight of entity workplan conversion rate
  • Support the Entity Planning Lead and Deputy Planner in tracking and reporting related to Entity Master Planning function for the respective entity
  • Manage entity plans issue log and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to follow up on open items
  • Assist in the tracking of entity-level commitment utilization and demand conversion data, updating work-planning system(s) as necessary
  • Overall oversight of cluster/entity specific strategic, innovation and cost-containment initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-8 years in mid-large scale project management and/or delivery
  • 8 - 10 years of management/ leadership experience by leading small to medium size team is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, people management, time management, problem solving, project management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to work under tight project deadlines.
  • Experienced in journey experience mapping and service blueprint is an advantage.
  • Domain knowledge in Healthcare operation process is an advantage
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous in medium to complex cost planning
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills in a matrix reporting environment
  • Preferably Certified Project Management (SAFe, CSM, CITPM, ITIL etc)
