Position Overview

Synapxe is looking to hire a Digitalization and Transformation Lead (Corporate IT). 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leading the overall design and implementation of digital transformation initiatives on an organisational level.
  • Analyse business and stakeholders’ needs, priorities, requirements, and make recommendations and to deliver agile solution strategies for IT innovation.
  • Understanding the digital transformation strategy, facilitating adoption of cloud vision and innovative technologies in driving business goals.
  • Procuring IT systems, managing the tender process, contract and vendor outsourcing.
  • Managing the project budget, delivery and SLAs to develop POC and production ready solutions.
  • Managing project pipeline towards aligned outcomes. This includes managing project risks, issues, deliverables, documentation, reporting, and communication Plan & Change Management plan.
  • Responsible for planning and deploying multiple project delivery methodologies (i.e. DMAIC,Waterfall, Agile and Scrum).
  • Instill continuous improvement mindset through working with key stakeholders to establish, review and analyse the objective that forms the fundamental of prioritizing and solving the problems at strategic level.
  • Implement corrective actions on business processes and system usage.
  • Lead and provide direction and support for departmental or cross-departmental business process improvements/transformation projects using Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Problem Solving and Critical thinking skills or other improvement methodologies to deliver quality and value-added services to the stakeholders.
  • Oversee team management including budgets, forecasting, work allocations and staffing.
  • Develop staff through ongoing coaching, mentoring and career discussions.
  • Define common goals, direction and accountability among staff.
  • Drive effective best performance management practices within department in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Min 12 years in leading and/or facilitating process improvement and/or digital transformation projects and change management with proven track record. Lean Six Sigma, certified Black Belt with PMP certification will be greatly favoured.
  • Extensive experience in digital transformation and project management, preferably, with functional knowledge in managing/improving moderate to complex end-to-end processes that cut across multiple functions and business entities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence internal and external key stakeholders, negotiate and calibrate to reach consensus around common goals
  • Self-motivated and independent, ability to manage multiple projects, timeliness and result-oriented are essential to succeed in this position.
  • Meticulous with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Armed with consultative, analytical, problem defining and problem solving skills.
  • Team player oriented with distinctive communication skills and high interpersonal competence, high motivation and positive work attitude
  • Possess basic knowledge of innovation and transformation tools in the market (e.g. RPA, BPM, AI, Data Visualization, etc).
