Assistant Finance Manager, Billing

Position Overview

This position will be responsible to support Synapxe billing. You will be required to work closely with the project teams, the finance shared service team, PHIs finance and other departments across the organization. Adhering to the compliance of billing and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Other responsibility includes improvement on billing process, implementation of RPA and SAP system enhancements.

Role & Responsibilities

• To perform billing for several revenue types.  Including but not limited to project services, milestones, time and material, maintenance, FTE, subscription, back to back recovery, etc and to ensure billing compliance with SOP.
• To handle billing queries from stakeholders, CIOO and project team such as billing model, amount, TPK, etc.
• Preparation of journal for revenue accrual and reclassification.
• Proactively follow up on customers’ queries, resolve any outstanding AR issues and invoices.
• Continuous improvement on the workflow by ways of streamlining the billing process and participate in system implementation, enhancements in SAP for billing management workflow and implementation of RPA
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance in billing to institutions
• Liaise with external auditor on billing related matters
• Handle audit related matters for audit requirements from the Group Internal Audit team and external auditors.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the reporting officer
   

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• Experienced in SAP Accounting System
• More than 3 years accounting experience billing management  
• Experience in services or IT industry is a bonus.
• Technically competent and operationally hands on.
• Meticulous, high level of accuracy, resourceful, highly motivated and adaptable to rapid changes.
• Takes control, initiates action and take responsibility
• Manages pressure well and copes well with demands from a number of different stakeholders
• Ability to organise own workload and work under tight timelines deadlines
