Assistant Lead Engineer - PKI (Cybersecurity Office)

Position Overview

The PKI Team Member will be responsible for supporting the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operations, including the management of digital certificates, key management, and ensuring the security and integrity of cryptographic systems. This role involves collaboration with various teams to implement and maintain PKI solutions that meet organizational security requirements

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and management of PKI solutions, including certificate authorities and registration authorities
• Monitor and maintain the health of PKI systems, ensuring high availability and performance
• Support the issuance, renewal, and revocation of digital certificates
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate PKI solutions into existing systems and applications
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of PKI operations to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding PKI-related issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to PKI and cryptography

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with PKI technologies and concepts, including X.509 certificates, certificate authorities, and key management
• Familiarity with cryptographic protocols and security standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are a plus
