Assistant Manager - Data BA (Chief Data Office)ce)

Position Overview

We are hiring a potential candidate for our chief data office team who will be involved in delivering data strategy across the organisation

Role & Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders in identifying the right use cases, translating business objectives into analytics projects, and support prioritization based on feasibility and value
• Frame and present concepts that spur use case ideation and brainstorming with business stakeholders
• Conduct POCs to validate the business value and capabilities, help identify and explore new data sources and analytical methods
• Manage operationalisation with system integration and work with stakeholders to ensure service or product is adopted by staff or embedded into business processes
• Support end-to-end data and analytics development
• Establish and implement corporate data governance policies and processes to drive data exploitation
• Raise the data literacy of the organisation by developing and implementing trainings and change management for different segments of data users to raise adoption on use of data and analytics capabilities and advocate best governance practices within the organisation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics or Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant working experience in data-driven initiatives involving data & analytics solutions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Project management skills
• Analytical and conflict resolution skills with proven ability to translate complex, technical subjects into clear and concise presentations or other means to a variety of key stakeholders of different levels
• Ability to work independently as well as an effective team player.
• Good knowledge of concepts, methods and techniques used in data governance, data management, data structures, data architecture, analytics and AI
•  experience in data and analytic capabilities such as Tableau, Informatica, Sagemaker is an advantage
