Position Overview
The Master Planning Office Demand Management Team oversees the coordination and governance of demand management across the Synapxe and Healthcare Entities, ensuring alignment with corporate and stakeholder requirements.
The Team is focused on streamlining governance and processes across budgeting and conversion to establish a consistent and reliable source of truth. This includes identifying metrics for management reporting and collaborating closely with management and stakeholders to foster sustainable operations and strengthen partnership engagements.
This role will support 2 key areas:
• Dashboarding and Reporting
The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Business Intelligence dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide insights and drive business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of Service Now, data visualization tools, and BI concepts.
• Demand Management
The candidate will work in a team to align business and IT strategies to develop and implement strategies to achieve organisational objectives and goals. The candidate will also support the portfolio management process to achieve a multi-year view of the demand and supply plan over time in order to smoothen the delivery and operations work, as well as to develop competency and capability build-up within Synapxe. This role requires a keen analytical acumen, strong project management and change management skills, and ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to drive operational excellence and deliver on project initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
Dashboarding and Reporting
- Able to analyse large datasets, experience with data models and develop
- Reporting/visualization through Business Intelligent tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Service Now etc
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for stakeholders across the organization
- Gather and analyse business requirements to create meaningful data visualizations that drive business decisions
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data quality and consistency
- Identify areas for improvement in existing reporting processes and work to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency
- Provide training and support to end-users on reporting and analytics
- Analyse portfolio budget and resource supply vs demand management for business prioritization on IT programs and projects delivery
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the analytics and visualisation/analytics tools space
Demand Management
- Assist to drive the demand management process and manage operations to ensure effective allocation or resources, prioritization of work and delivery of business objectives
- Assist to provide central planning guidance taking into consideration overall resource envelop, budget envelop and tech Roadmap alignment.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and stake holders to gather data and input necessary for effective planning
- Analyse and interpret complex data to drive business decisions and identify areas of improvement
- Assist to conduct regular reviews of planning processes, suggesting improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist to create and manage communication plans. Co-facilitate workshops and training sessions to build awareness and understanding of the work planning process
Requirements
- 5+ years working in internal IT strategy, business planning or related role. Experience in healthcare industry is an advantage
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Strong organizational skills to plan and execute
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Experience in Portfolio/Program Budget and Resource Data Analysis
- Experience with BI Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboards
- Knowledge of data modelling concepts and database design
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and to evaluate change impact and effectively address challenges
- Good communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to handle ambiguity and high work pressure
