Position Overview

The Assistant Manager is responsible, or to support the Senior Programme Manager, to drive and manage exciting program for whole of healthcare or across Public Healthcare Clusters to deliver the anticipated benefits and inspire tomorrow's health. 

You will be responsible for supporting the centralized funding and advisory services of the newly set up Cente of Excellence (COE) and assist in ensuring processes and guidelines are set up and governed systematically and consistently. You are also expected to implement an effective tracking and monitoring mechanism of timelines by the funding needs of various programmes. You will need to work closely with the various internal/external stakeholders within Synapxe and agencies, to facilitate the day to day running, discussion, and follow-ups for funding paper submissions to obtaining the LOA for programmes undertaken by COE. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activities in Centre of Excellence (COE)
  • Follow up with stakeholders on their funding needs
  • Ensure key discussion and decisions are properly documented for posterity and followed up by relevant parties.
  • De-conflict requirements for time and space to ensure relevant stakeholders are brought to the table for decisions/discourse. Disseminate meeting information in a timely manner. 
  • Provide administrative support in putting together standardized processes, templates, guidelines and frameworks as part of COE's role in providing advisory services.  
  • Provide funding acquisition monitoring to the various programmes undertaken by COE, from funding paper submissions, budget approvals to obtaining the Letter of Approval (LOA).

Requirements

  • Diploma holder with 1 to 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Knowledge and exposure in understanding government funding will be advantageous
  • Funding and programme management experience; preferably in managing programmes in a large-sized organization operating in a highly complex environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel & Automation, MS SharePoint Workflow Automation
  • Ability to think strategically; understand, interpret and apply policies as it applies to IT enablement; apply analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed communication, consultation, negotiation and advocacy skills and a proven ability to establish and cultivate relationships with a variety of key stakeholders.
  • Experience with documentation work products including manuals, SOPs, training aides and process documents
  • Ability to manage multiple project activities at the one time and good prioritisation skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, plus effective interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated individual and good team player
