Position Overview

The PMO Manager will provide support for NGEMR Project team. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure NGEMR PMs to submit NGEMR initiated projects/National Projects in budgeting tool.
  • Oversee overall NGEMR Annual Budget.
  • Track to ensure assessments are completed by NGEMR PMs as needed
  • Understand budgeting process, tool and timeline to provide guidance to NGEMR PMs
  • Ensure PMs provide regular Project Status
  • Remind NGEMR PMs to update in the necessary Project tracker and tools.
  • Highlight projects with risks/issues/delayed
  • Statistics/Data Points, for example: a) Aging of Demands (e.g., from demand raised to demand approved, turnaround time of demands) b) Key Life-Cycle: Pre-assessment, Procurement, Execution (how many completed, how many in assessment, which projects have issues, etc.)
  • Track and process incoming adhoc change requests
  • Be familiarized with NGEMR Enhancement Process and provide guidance to NGEMR PMs
  • To provide statistics for management report/analysis
  • Might need to setup new process/template or fine tune existing ones. 

Requirements

  • Prior experience with PMO is an advantage
  • Prior experience with budgeting is an advantage
  • Prior experience in overseeing project/change request portfolio is an advantage
  • High proficiency with Excel is an advantage.  Minimally able to use Excel proficiently; able to use formula, e.g., vlookup, pivot, etc.
  • Good with numbers, strong Analytics and problem-solving skill.
  • Able to prioritize work and meet delivery timeline
  • Strong Communication skills
