Position Overview

We are hiring an assistant system analyst for our Programme.Operations.Digital (P.O.D) department. This role involves in providing initial technical support, performs routine administrative tasks, and assists senior engineers with troubleshooting and maintenance for GPConnect which is one of the top clinic management systems with EMR module. It is widely used by private GP under paid subscription model.

 

Role & Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Collate alerts and metrics from monitoring tools to detect issue
  • Respond to issue reported via support channels. Perform initial assessment on the severity of an issue and respond according to established processes
  • Track and follow through any unclosed incident
  • Troubleshoot production incidents

Communication Skills

  • Understand an issue and guide users
  • Able to translate technical issues and share technical solution to non-IT individual into a simple understandable language

Requirements

  • Minimum: Diploma or equivalent in IT, Computer Sclence
  • Technical knowledge: Experience in support applications. Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Hardware (e.g. desktop/laptop, printer), Remote Support tools.
  • Have strong communication skills (verbal and written) - Polite, empathetic and patient 
  • Have strong problem solving and analytic skills
  • Domain knowledge in health care is an advantage
  • 1-2 years experience working as application support 
  • To work in shift or on-call rotation when required
