Position Overview
As a Project Administrator supporting innovation projects, you will work closely with the Manager/Senior Manager to drive engagement with various entities, support demand generation efforts, and contribute to the development of a strong pipeline of initiatives aligned with Synapxe’s corporate KPIs. This role complements the demand‑management function and ensures smooth coordination across project activities throughout their lifecycle.
The candidate will assist in identifying, evaluating, and administratively supporting innovation projects from multiple forums and sources. Under the guidance of senior team members, he/she will help structure collaborations between stakeholders and industry partners and track the delivery of expected project outcomes. He/She is encouraged to recommend and test new approaches that enhance efficiency and value creation. Collaboration, teamwork, and continuous process improvement—both at departmental and organisational levels—are key expectations of the role.
He/She should be confident, organised, and decisive in executing project administrative responsibilities, including documentation, tracking inter‑dependent workstreams, and ensuring timely progress of assigned initiatives. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential to engage stakeholders and facilitate effective project execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination: Support engagement activities with users and maintain good working relationships as a reliable liaison. Coordinate with technical teams, domains, and departments to ensure consistent communication and alignment.
- Project Administration & Tracking: Perform day‑to‑day project administrative duties such as schedule coordination, meeting logistics, minute‑taking, progress tracking, and ensuring all project documentation is up to date.
- Support Needs Analysis & Documentation: Assist the Manager/Senior Manager in gathering and documenting user requirements, operational workflows, existing systems, challenges, and problem statements to support structured analysis of innovation needs.
- Pipeline & Opportunity Management: Assist in monitoring the innovation project pipeline, maintaining project records, tracking priorities, and preparing documentation and presentations for collaboration opportunities.
Support Strategic & Operational Planning: Participate in departmental planning discussions and provide administrative support for strategic initiatives. Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supporting project management or support in partnership engagement, strategic planning, or innovation-focused roles.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with people, with a strong team player mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and innovation pathways is a plus.
