Associate Systems Engineer - Citrix (CII)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Systems Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in datacenter migrations, hardware management, Nutanix environments, and Windows infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, positive attitude toward problem-solving and collaboration.

Role & Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and support datacenter migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition.
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, storage systems, and networking components.
• Deploy, configure, and optimize Nutanix HCI environments, including clusters, AHV/ESXi integration, and Prism management.
• Administer and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and security configurations.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and system health checks for infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, implement changes, and deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure documentation, SOPs, and inventory records are accurate and up to date.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and team members to ensure clarity and smooth execution of tasks.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or relevant
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience with datacenter migration projects (planning, execution, validation).
• Strong knowledge of server hardware (Dell, HP, Lenovo or similar).
• Good experience managing Nutanix clusters, nodes, and virtualization.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in virtualization technologies (AHV, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V is a plus).
• Understanding of network protocols and basic networking troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nutanix certifications (e.g., NCP, NCM) are an advantage.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, AZ-104, Windows Server) preferred.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell) is beneficial.
• Exposure to ITIL processes.
