Position Overview

As an Institution Business Analyst, you will support the institution in strategic planning, system integration, and technology enablement, as well as in day‑to‑day operational needs. You will participate in and facilitate new building implementation activities and project deliveries. The role also includes supporting audits, governance, and compliance initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

Hospital operations:

  • Support the institution in day‑to‑day IT operational needs
  • Participate in Cluster and Institution IT governance forums, workgroups, hospital operations meetings and project steering committees
  • Support Cluster and Institution audits, exercises and operational setups (e.g. ESS, BCP, Cybersecurity, DR exercise, mass casualty, pandemic, emergency planning)
  • Ensure adherence to MOH HIM chapters and compliance with healthcare and institution‑level policies and standards
  • Work closely with audit and exercise owners to address findings and provide timely responses to audit/exercise observations

IT workplan and budgeting:

  • Collaborate with users and BA Lead to identify IT strategic needs () and translate those roadmaps and projects into the workplans
  • Conduct prioritization of workplans and adhoc projects
  • Engage users and delivery teams for workplan actualisation
  • Support CIO and IBA lead to review project budget, transfer pricing and procurement of applications

Oversee project approval and delivery:

  • Engage stakeholders and users to understand business needs and workflow, enabling high level pre-project assessment and feasibility evaluations.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to evaluate potential solutions needed to address business needs while ensure alignment to the overall SingHealth digital strategy.
  • Engage stakeholders and users for IT governance approvals, solution reviews and delivery.
  • Provide timely and accurate project progress updates and proactively highlight any risks.

Requirements

  • Possess a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any other relevant discipline
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience as an IT Project Manager and vendor management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with interpersonal skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently, possess good customer service skills and able to work with cross functional teams
  • Good written, communication and presentation skills 
  • CITPM / PMP certification will be an added advantage
  • Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage
