Position Overview

The candidate will be part of the Master Planning Office (MPO) within Synapxe, driving central Strategic Planning Initiatives and provide central planning guidance taking into consideration overall resource envelop, budget envelop and DHMP / Tech Roadmap alignment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • As part of the Master Planning Office, support the portfolio management process to achieve a multi-year view of the demand and supply plan over time in order to smoothen the delivery and operations work, as well as to develop competency and capability build-up within Synapxe
  • Provide central planning guidance taking into consideration overall resource envelop, budget envelop and tech Roadmap alignment.  
  • Develop planning related organisational strategies by translating organisational vision, goals and objective and seeking consultation from relevant stakeholders as well as to review outcomes for continuous improvements.  Lead a wide variety of workstreams within strategic initiatives such Workforce Planning, Maintenance of Capability Framework, Cost Containment and Benefit Realisation tracking
  • Collect, analyse and interpret complex data to drive business decisions and identify areas of improvement    
  • Engage and communicate with key stakeholders of different levels.  Design and implement facilitation plans to drive strategic change and transformation.  Steer abstract dialogue into actionable themes and recommendations.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and expertise

Requirements

  • Min. 12+ years working in internal IT strategy/planning or related consulting role.  Experience in healthcare industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in Strategic planning frameworks and methodologies (e.g. SWOT Analysis, PESTLE analysis).  Financial modeling and forecasting is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills to plan and execute. Experience in leading design, implementation as well as management of IT programmes and projects governance framework.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication, analytical and conflict resolution skills with proven ability to simplify complex information into concise concepts. 
  • Strong ability to handle ambiguity, high energy and hands-on attitude.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.
