Position Overview

HealthHub SG is on an adventure to unify the health journey of our population.  With ever-increasing digitalisation of public healthcare services and a step change in adoption of our digital applications, the new Digital Transformation Lead within the Digital Xperience and Engagement (DXE) team within Synapxe will develop the digital strategy for HealthHub and deliver the digital transformation narrative.

This role will also take a product portfolio management view through harmonising multiple product roadmaps across our core platforms, digital applications and APIs that power the consumer frontends within the public healthcare ecosystem as well as customer experience technologies, with the goal of improving efficiencies and creating a best-in-class experience for our citizens with technology.

The Assistant Director of Digital Transformation is expected to be a builder of a high functioning team and developer of people

Role & Responsibilities

1) Ownership of Digital Strategy and Narrative:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with Synapxe’s overall objectives for HealthHub and
  • Understand industry trends and emerging technologies such as GenAI, effectively communicating impacts with the leadership team and including these trends as part of the digital strategy
  • Implement digital methodologies (e.g., Agile, Human-centered design) to help us move faster in our implementation of digital solutions while simultaneously de-risking projects
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies, continuously assessing their potential to drive business improvement and strengthen HealthHub’s value proposition
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging creativity and experimentation in the pursuit of digital excellence

 

2) Technology Integration and Transformation:

  • Oversee the digital product portfolio, prioritising initiatives based on business impact and ensuring timely and on-budget delivery
  • Leverage digital technologies to realise tangible improvements in efficiencies and value proposition to partners and end users
  • Align digital transformation and tech modernisation initiatives with overarching business goals and strategies
  • Lead digital transformation and change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, via the implementation of leading methodologies and best practices

 

3) Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of digital initiatives with overall business objectives
  • Build a high functioning team, providing leadership and mentorship
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives, and co-developing with cross-functional leaders a framework and capabilities for the business to use to drive decision-making and continuous improvement utilising data

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in digital transformation and portfolio management with a proven track record of leading successful digital change initiatives.
  • Experience as a digital leader at an organization in a service industry or public sector, with some appreciation of public sector procurement processes.
  • Proven expertise in change management, including the ability to effectively communicate the need for change, manage resistance, and facilitate a smooth transition to new processes and technologies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to drive change in an organization, quickly and with agility.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving digital landscape, with a willingness to embrace and drive change proactively.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to articulate a clear vision for digital transformation and engage all levels of the organization.
