Position Overview
This position will be responsible to support NHG CIOO IT Finance Management functions as part of the CIOO Cluster Finance team. You will be required to work closely with CIOO Institution Services, NHG Institution and Group Finance teams, as well as various departments across Synapxe and NHG.
This role will be supporting the GCIO and Cluster IT office to ensure the smooth operations of IT Finance Management, adhering to the finance governance and compliance and ensuring accuracy and completeness of IT Financial records for audits and management reporting.
You’ll be tasked to support the department in financial planning and analysis activities, as well as process improvement and cost containment initiatives, such as streamlining the IT billing process and tracking & monitoring of actual IT spending for management reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
Funding and utilization monitoring and reporting
- Manage MOH funded IT budgets. Verify, prepare and submit claims to MOH on the timely basis.
- Track IT projects utilization. Work closely with IT PMs to project, prepare and submit cash flow projections to MOH.
- MOH reporting. Provide and furnish up to date budget utilisation and balance details. Submit and update monthly utilisation and projection reports. And any other reports requested by MOH with respect to IT funding.
Workplan and Budgeting
- Track IT Projects Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Co-ordinate and consolidate workplan budget submission.
- Prepare work plan documents for sign off.
IT Projects Finance operations
- Determine funding activities for projects and assist budgeting process at cluster level.
- Provide guidance to IT PM with regards to creation of Purchase Requisitions and Project Charters.
- Invoices processing and verification to ensure billing amount is as per Purchase Order and approved Transfer Pricing (TP) Key.
- Monitor, track closely and work with IT PM on renewal of IT project maintenance.
- Track budget utilization and process invoices
- Undertake any requests as directed by the IT Lead and Team Lead of the staff in alignment with institution objectives and goals.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent is preferred.
- 6-8 years working experience in Account/Finance roles. Relevant working experience in IT or Healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Meticulous, well organised, resourceful, highly motivated and adaptable to rapid changes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with various stakeholders under tight timelines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Powerpoint and Excel for financial analysis, reporting and presentation materials.
- Experience in either SAP ARIBA, FICO, MM module and/or ITBM (including generating and analysing finance data) is a plus.
