Finance Analyst - IT Governance (Cluster Offices)

Position Overview

Supports IT governance at Cluster Offices by managing reporting dashboards, tracking IT cost-impact metrics, and maintaining financial databases. Ensures quality assurance for IT projects through policy compliance checks and documentation reviews. Supports IT procurement activities, including budget tracking and SOP development. Enables strategic oversight and operational efficiency across IT functions. 

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in managing Cluster Office’s IT investments and strengthening IT governance. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across departments, contribute to strategic decision-making, and ensure the integrity and efficiency of IT operations.

You will support three key areas:

1.      Management Reporting

a.      Develop and maintain a tracking system and database for IT cost-impact metrics across all AIC-managed systems. Collaborate with project teams and business units to ensure timely and accurate data updates.

b.      Maintain dashboards for monthly budget utilization reviews with department leadership.

c.      Build a historical database of IT expenses to support financial analysis and strategic planning.

d.      Review budget approval papers and support project teams in refining submissions for management and Board reporting.

e.      Provide secretariat support for the biweekly IT Risk and Operations Committee meetings.

2.      Quality Assurance for IT Projects

a.      Assist in designing and implementing a QA framework to ensure IT projects comply with AIC and Synapxe policies.

b.      Review project documentation and artefacts across the project lifecycle, identify gaps, and work with teams to implement corrective actions.

c.      Establish and manage a central repository of IT policies, workflows, and reference materials to support project teams.

3.      IT Procurement

a.      Track budgets and expenditures related to entity-managed IT operations.

b.      Support procurement activities, ensuring compliance with internal processes and policies.

c.      Develop and maintain a repository of SOPs and workflows for IT procurement and collaborate with process owners to address gaps.

In addition to the above scope, the individual will be assigned to perform ad-hoc task and activities when necessary.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's in Business/Finance or any related discipline

2. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

4. Proficiency in Tableau dashboarding is advantageous.

5. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and improve processes.
