Position Overview

Candidate will be the engagement manager to build productive relationships with the sector to generate needs and demand for new capabilities and innovations.

Role & Responsibilities

The Manager's primary R&R will be to generate leads and opportunities with the main aim and objective of converting these into collaborations between the users and the industry solution providers. They are empowered to recommend and try innovative ways and approaches to achieve these outcomes. They work harmoniously, hand-in-hand with the rest of the team and are encouraged to participate in both strategic and operational matters to continuously improve processes both for the department and the organisation as a whole. 

Key roles include:

1.    Clear and structured identification of user needs by understanding and documenting their operational workflows and objectives, systems and applications in use and their limitations, and importantly their issues and problem statements that they wish to resolve through new and innovative means and solutions.

2.    Identification of the appropriate pathways and options to recommend to the user based on a clear understanding of their needs and the solutions and services available to them via the department, organisation, and industry to the best of their knowledge. Challenging conventional thinking where needed to value-add and push users and peers to think beyond today’s boundaries.

3.    Independent engagement with users and building of strong relationships to become trusted partners of choice and function as key liaisons for other technical staff, domains, and departments within the organisation. Supporting the team, department, and organisation to achieve the same trust with the users and industry partners.

4.    Management of pipeline, prioritising opportunities including the recommendation and presentation of collaboration opportunities for endorsement.

5.    Participation in the strategic planning of department matters, providing inputs and suggestions to chart or re-chart paths and target outcomes, and the execution of operational matters to ensure we achieve those outcomes.   

 

Requirements


1.    At least 5-6 years of experience as a Management Consultant, Technology Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar discipline. Experience in IT, Healthcare, or HealthTech is an advantage.

2.    Analytical and structured with strong problem-solving skills. Adopts a systematic and structured approach in handling complex stakeholders and ambiguous and fuzzy issues, and actively discusses his perspectives to arrive at effective solutions.

3.    Strong communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

4.    Responsible, accountable, self-motivated and driven to achieve personal, department, and organisation goals and outcomes. Able to work independently, ability to be autonomous but proactive in reaching out for support.

5.    Integrity to do the right things in the right way without compromising core values and trust for the betterment of public healthcare in Singapore.
