Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain inventory management of IT hardware assets (PC, Network/Security Devices, Servers, and appliances), reconciling physical count against inventory records. This involves verifying approximately 27k pieces of equipment.
  • Assist with network and systems asset cataloguing and inventory reconciliation processes to maintain accurate records.
  • Validating asset tracking, and coordinate with vendors for specialized mobile equipment such as Computer on Wheels (COWs), MedCarts and mobile devices.

 

System Support & Maintenance:

  • Support the patching and testing cycles (e.g. Co-existence test for cluster manage systems)
  • Provide first-level support for cluster management systems, assisting with monitoring and initial troubleshooting.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the deployment and management of Windows/iOS/Android-based endpoints.
  • Support the testing, setup, and ongoing user assistance for various specialized clinical systems (e.g., Sleep Lab, Diagnostics Imaging, Neurodiagnostic).

 

User & Project Support:

  • Provide support for Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR) mobile devices, including user assistance and troubleshooting (e.g. network connectivity and functional support).
  • Assist with the upgrade firmware for IT equipment (PC, Network/Security Devices, Servers, and appliances) for compliance.
  • Assist in projects management using known framework and methodology including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production testing for facilities and systems.
  • Assist in managing and processing incoming IT requests and incident handling. 
  • Provide technical support for key meetings, such as Board meetings, which includes setting up MiFi routers and guiding users on network connectivity."
     

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing Higher Nitec in IT Systems and Network or related discipline
  • Basic computer hardware/software knowledge
  • Basic Operating System knowledge
  • Understand of basic Networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite/M365.
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Possess strong analytical skill and able to work under tight timelines
  • Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Innovative, proactive and multi-tasker with an inquisitive mind
  • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and a strong team player
