Position Overview

The digital platform team is hiring a Lead Business Analyst to manage the consumer common digital platform.

This position expects the potential candidate to

  • to develops project plans, identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit
  • handle situations which may require extensive research of the organization’s business processes and requirements, information technology requirements, procedures or problems according to business needs
  • addresses complex questions and/or issues
  • thrives and easily draws trends from ambiguous circumstances, and addresses complex issues with sound judgement and decisions

Role & Responsibilities

Implement system analysis strategy

  • Contribute to the development of functional strategy 
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of all functional areas of system/data product analysis
  • Establish a technical roadmap for systems analysis
  • Set guidelines for system analysis and improvements

Identify business needs

  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand needs and gather requirements
  • Make presentations to stakeholders on opportunities and constraints of processes and systems/data products
  • Prioritise user request in line with software system strategy

Analyse systems

  • Formulate system scope and objectives
  • Examine interactions between system elements, system performance and issues
  • Drive efforts to increase viability and efficiency of operations 
  • Guide the collection of information about new or existing systems/data products for analysis

Develop solutions

  • Oversee the translation of requirements documentation into system requirement specifications
  • Recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems
  • Oversee the evaluation of new systems/data products to determine the feasibility of installation
  • Devise procedures to solve complex operational problems 
  • Evaluate implications of new systems to the current and future business environment

Manage project implementation

  • Plan project timelines and resources needed
  • Apply project management tools
  • Communicate project objectives junctures to obtain buy in from all stakeholders
  • Enforce use of best practices and frameworks for project implementation
  • Identify project risks and mitigating actions
  • Deliver projects in line with agreed standards, providing fit for purpose solutions within constraints

Requirements

  • 10-15 years’ experience in implementing and maintaining IT systems 
  • Self-motivated and fast learner. 
  • Able to multi task and work with a team.
  • Strong in troubleshooting skills, vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum development would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in API Gateway & Container Platform Development would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in AWS would be an added advantage.
  • Healthcare IT experience background is preferred.
