Lead Engineer (Systems and Virtualization) - Central

Position Overview

This role is to support the NGEMR project and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage a team of system engineer to support system KTLO and day to day operational activities.
• Responsible for making sure that service are being seamlessly delivered, on track and effective.
• Leading team, rectifying issues, monitoring progress.
• Manage stakeholder's expectation.
• Maintaining good relationship with users.
• Define operational and project tasks and resource requirements and to achieve optimal resource utilization.
• Track operation tasks and project deliverables.
• Implement process improvements to reduce development time.
• Present reports and project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Experienced in service delivery, operation support and IT infrastructure.
• Degree in IT or any related discipline
• At least 4 years experience in project implementation, virtualization technology and clustering & server hardening.
• Good problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively manage operational teams.
• Experienced in planning and implementing service delivery process.
• ITIL certified.
