Position Overview

Synapxe’s Contract Management department provides contract management support not only for Synapxe’s own corporate contracts, but also provides consolidated and centralised contract management support for the clinical, business and healthcare analytics IT systems of various public healthcare hospitals and institutions in Singapore. The successful candidate will assume the tasks and general responsibilities of the Contract Management department, with particular emphasis on drafting, review and preparation of Requests for Proposals and IT contracts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide contract management support to the Company in the varied, dynamic and fast-paced areas of IT services
  • Draft, review and preparation of various types of contracts and agreements, including IT contracts on system / software / hardware acquisition, maintenance contracts, non-disclosure agreements, addendums, etc., including finalisation, formatting and printing of contracts
  • Review of schedules and requirement specifications for IT contracts, including service level agreements and functional / technical requirements
  • Providing general advice on contract validity and contract renewal documentation
  • Drafting and preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and working with IT project managers on RFP and proposal clarifications
  • Working closely with Procurement department and Legal department during the RFP and contract drafting process
  • Ensure proper governance and approvals by stakeholders and senior management before final contract award and execution
  • Administrative duties such as filing, documenting and keeping official records of all contracts executed by the company and management of contracts, as well extraction of business reports for senior management

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree holder, preferably with at least 2-4 years’ PQE, with prior experience gained as a paralegal at a reputable commercial law firm or in-house.
  • A good command of English with excellent grammar, vetting and writing skills is essential for this position
  • Possess an analytical mind, an eye for detail and basic knowledge of general contract law
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with people at all levels
  • Able to provide sound advice on contract renewals and ensure compliance with internal corporate governance processes
  • Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel
