Position Overview

You will play a key role as the enabler and integrator to build, implement and maintain the Synapxe GRC system capabilities in Synapxe. The GRC system is to enable the provision of a holistic and central view of risk to senior level management and stakeholders. This job involves designing, implementing, operationalizing, maintaining the Synapxe GRC systems, harmonizing processes and providing sound recommendations balancing/calibrating business desires and needs of the organisation. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • As the project manager, you will develop, maintain and manage comprehensive project plans for GRC systems (e.g. ServiceNow IRM) implementation, and oversee the continuous maintenance of the capabilities of the solution adopted.
  • Enable a holistic and central view of risk (e.g., operational risk, third party risk, compliance risk, etc.) via GRC systems; Integrate risk information (e.g., third-party risk, compliance risk). 
  • Develop the digital roadmap for risk management ensuring its relevance. 
  • Engage different parties to understand operation business needs and assist to translate into business requirements. 
  • Transform manual, siloed and inefficient risk management related processes – harmonize processes, automate workflows, enable faster and more accurate reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for project stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular meetings, provide status updates, and manage expectations. 
  • Hands-on in the project and SI management in the GRC implementation.
  • Manage project and the progress, contracts, monitor the scope, schedule, budget and deliver the expected values. Address any issues or roadblocks proactively. Identify and manage risks and implications to the project and recommend mitigation measures. 
  • Foster collaborative environment and promote effective communication. Manage stakeholders and partner/collaborate with business units across Synapxe and Public Healthcare to achieve mutual objectives.
  • Demonstrate your expertise; you are expected to further your own knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues. This including staying updated on releases, features, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvements. 
  • Guide and support the project team, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities. 
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) 
  • At least 8 years’ experience of project management in GRC or ServiceNow projects. 
  • Proven track records of delivering GRC systems implementation or related field. 
  • Good knowledge & experience in governance, risk management (IT and operational risks) and/or compliance, frameworks & standards such as ISO31000 and COSO ERM. 
  • Project management certification e.g. PMP, CITPM, PRINCE2.
  • ServiceNow certifications in ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in risk and compliance and ServiceNow System Administrator will be an advantage.
