Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Business Partner with expertise in Ariba system management to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily procurement operations, procurement process, managing stakeholder and vendor relationships, and optimising the utilisation of the Ariba system to streamline purchasing operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead Procurement Operation Tower for a few business groups. Be responsible for various KPI’s of Procurement Operations management
- Lead a team of procurement professionals to manage business continuity in Procurement Operations, meet stakeholders (businesses) needs, value-add quality of requirements, and maintain procurement policy and governance
- Be a dedicated resource and the primary point of contact for the pertinent business unit he/she is assigned. Provide advice on all procurement matters to the users in the business unit and assist to plan the procurement strategy and approach for the execution of the procurement requests
- Assist Procurement Director in formulating strategy and implementing plan in Procurement transformation. Lead program and overall change management process. Developing improved process and working/collaborating with other parties as required to drive change and improve the procurement process
- Manage multiple projects and is responsible for the execution from initiation to completion. Determine project goals to ensure the project supports business objectives and strategies
- Develop operational plans which include requirements, scope, schedules, budget, and resource requirements/utilization. Manage the risks that affect the delivery of the project outcome
- Implement continual improvement to identify opportunities, develops and executes action plans and assist in optimizing sourcing processes to attain maximum efficiency, values, and optimal outcomes. Present reports and project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Champion growth mindset and implement development programs to improve efficacy and uplift quality of procurement
- Hire, train and manage a team and delegate tasks across departments when necessary. Invest time to develop key talent, not just for own team but for Procurement department as well
- Lead/contribute acceleration of digital adoption to automate manual/repetitive processes and modernize data management
Requirements
- At least 5-10 years of Procurement operations experience
- Experience in leading multiple teams of at least 3-5 persons
- Have a keen interest and sense in IT domains such as Cloud and Data security
- Bachelor or higher qualifications from a recognized university in disciplines related to business, computer science, healthcare or related field of studies
- Leadership, Coaching, Change Management, Project Management qualifications or certificates will be advantageous but not mandatory
