Position Overview
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Talent Management & Capability Development, the candidate will play a crucial role to lead the design, development and execution of enterprise-wide leadership development strategies, frameworks and programmes. The ideal candidate will work with the Synapxe Academy team and collaborate with various departments to build leadership bench strength to enhance leadership effectiveness, to drive a high-performance and engaged culture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Leadership Development Strategy & Programmes
- Develop and drive the socialisation of the leadership competency framework for all levels of leaders within organisation
- Oversee leadership development roadmap and conduct timely reviews on current suite of leadership and managerial programmes to ensure continued effectiveness, where relevant, to also facilitate some managerial training inhouse, e.g. performance management.
- Beyond training programmes, to also review possible interventions to enhance the building of leadership competencies of our leaders.
- Oversee the planning and coordination of the leadership programmes
- Other Leadership Interventions & 360 Feedback
- Manage the executive coaching programme, including vendor selection and evaluation
- Oversee the design and rollout of the 360 feedback tools, and processes, and provide support to leaders in interpretation of results and crafting of development plans
- Developmental Awards
- Lead the nomination and selection process for developmental awards in two key areas: sponsorship for all staff, as well as scholarship for our key talents and leaders
- Administer the award process, with the necessary agreements and payment arrangements.
- Employee Engagement
- Drive the annual employee engagement survey process in partnership with the appointed vendor, and internal stakeholders
- Analyse survey results, identify insights and trends, and support the organisation in the development and execution of action plans
- Track and report on engagement trends to senior management
Requirements
- Degree with more than 5 years of working experience and prior experience in Leadership Development and/or L&D domains.
- Strong experience with adult learning methodologies, leadership frameworks and 360 tools.
- Attainment of the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance or other established learning and development certifications would be an advantage.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, with the ability to look ahead at the evolving needs, and to customise leadership interventions to suit the needs of the organisation
- Ability to handle intense workload, set up systems, structures and processes in a complex working environment, and project manage a few workstreams at once.
- Good stakeholder management skills, especially with senior stakeholders, and leaders within the organisation.
- Have a positive, growth and agile mindset, energetic, collaborative, meticulous, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with good follow-through.
