Position Overview
As an officer in the MOH HealthTech Policy Division (HPD), the potential candidate
- will play a critical role in sharing and implementing health technology policies to ensure compliance and align with strategic objectives
- will develop, provide advice on and support the implementation of ICT and data governance policies in the public healthcare sector
- Operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the officer will be required to efficiently manage multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, review, implement and communicate ICT and data governance policies, standards and guidelines with key healthcare stakeholders
- Conduct reviews to assess the effectiveness of existing policies, standards and guidelines
- Engage and collaborate with key relevant internal (e.g. MOH Divisions) and external (e.g. MOHH Entities, other public and private sector organisations) stakeholders to gather feedback on policy needs and requirements. This includes proactively seeking feedback and to make adjustments to ensure policy effectiveness
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership to ensure policies support the overall strategic goals and outcomes of public healthcare sector
- Foster collaboration to ensure policies are practical and aligned with operational needs, and in line with culture of continuous improvement in policy development and implementation
- Provide secretariat support to IT and data-related meeting forums
Requirements
- University qualifications in any of the following fields: Public administration, political science, economics, IT and computer science, legal
- Between 1-5 years of work experience
- Ability to work under strict timelines
- Excellent writing skills to draft policies in a clear and succinct manner
