Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Platform Demand and Release Manager to join our team. This key role involves overseeing the demand management and release processes for the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules within the ServiceNow platform.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and product leads to gather and prioritize demand requests related to SPM, IRM, ITSM, and ITAM modules
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive demand management process to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Define release management strategies for ServiceNow platform updates and module enhancements
  • Coordinate with development teams to plan and schedule releases, considering dependencies and potential risks
  • Communicate release schedules, status updates, and impact assessments to relevant stakeholders
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of release documentation, including release notes and deployment instructions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions during module updates and releases
  • Participate in change management processes and assess the impact of changes on the ServiceNow modules
  • Implement best practices for version control and configuration management within the ServiceNow environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven 7 years of experience in demand and release management for ServiceNow platform modules, particularly SPM, IRM, ITSM, and ITAM
  • In-depth knowledge of demand management processes and methodologies
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and release management best practices
  • Experience coordinating releases in complex, multi-module ServiceNow environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in SPM, IRM, ITSM, or ITAM is a plus
