Synapxe is anticipating roll out of new technology for end-to-end integrated processes and tools in upcoming quarters.
The selected intern will have opportunity to support Synapxe transformative journey for Demand Management and Project Monitoring and Reporting, via data migration, data analysis and validation of deployed processes and tools. The intern will also have the opportunity to participate in change management townhalls, training content delivery, comms and other aspects of the tool transformation for the PMR function.
In this project, the intern is expected to contribute to this roll-out by working closely with the vendor from system requirements to deployment in the areas of,
(A) Demand management to:
- Validate annual project/maintenance demands from User/CIO Office for assessment
- Capture various aspect of demand such as owner, funding source and budget share, manpower and non-manpower; resource demand by role by department;
- Develop and perform user acceptance test for vendor implemented tools
- Generate reports for demands review for different roles
- Demand Baseline preparation & validation for Cluster IT Budget preps
- Workplan operationalizing for FY and Ad hoc Demand tool functionality
(B) Project Actualisation & Tracking for Committed and Ad hoc demands:
- Demand to Project Conversion with tracking for phase of progress (approval stage, procurement stage, implementation etc.)
- Ad hoc demand management
- Validation of Project Charter (financial approvals) set-up integration with SAP
- Project Status updates (start/end, milestones) including Go-live milestone re-baseline governance
- Project Monitoring & Reporting
At the end of the internship, the student will develop an understanding of scope of Master Planning Office function in a complex IT organisation, with exposure to state-of-art technology, innovative processes and tools.
About you:
- Be pursuing a Diploma in Information Technology or related field
- Graduating in May 2026
- Ability to understand current processes and tools and align with PMO lead on transformation expectations
- Possess business analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts to validate requirements implementation while working closely with identified vendor.
- Exercise computational thinking to digest and resolve large complex issues
- Familiar with project management terminologies (e.g. waterfall, agile), SDLC, cloud hosting technology
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
