The selected intern will be supporting the Data Protection Trustmark Certification Project.

 

The main work areas for students involved in the Data Protection Trustmark project will encompass several key aspects:

Project Planning:

  • Participate in the initial planning stages of the Data Protection Trustmark project
  • Defining project goals, identifying key stakeholders, and outlining the necessary steps to achieve certification
  • Lean to create project timelines, allocate resources, and set milestones to track progress

 

Execution of Project Activities: 

  • Conduct assessments of current data protection practices within the organization
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement data protection policies and procedures
  • Engage in training sessions to educate staff about data protection requirements and best practices

 

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Assist in monitoring the implementation of data protection measures and evaluating their effectiveness
  • Involve in data collection, analyze compliance levels, and identify areas for improvement

 

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Support the documentation of the project’s progress, including maintaining records of activities, preparing reports for stakeholders, and ensuring that all documentation meets the standards required for certification.

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Infocomm & Security, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Graduating in May 2026
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, particularly related to data protection and compliance
  • Fast learner and able to work under tight timelines
  • Innovative, proactive and multi-tasker with an inquisitive mind
  • Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
