The Volunteer Welfare Organisation Community Hospital Common System (VWO CHCS) serves four Community Hospitals:

  • Ang Mo Kio – Thye Hua Kwan Hospital (AMKH)
  • Ren Ci Hospital (RCH)
  • St Andrew’s Community Hospital (SACH)
  • St Luke’s Hospital (SLH)

 

This system is built on SAP ECC6, incorporating:

  • SAP ISH (Patient Management & Patient Accounting)
  • FI/CO (Finance/Controlling)
  • MM (Materials Management)

 

The intern will be involved with various project enhancements on this system and they could be policy changes such as subsidy schemes from the Ministry of Health (MOH) or additional business requirements from the VWO CHCS. 

 

Some of the responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Project Enhancements: Involvement in policy changes like subsidy schemes from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and additional business requirements from VWO CHs.
  • User Requirements Scoping: Research user business processes, identify problem areas, and gather IT requirements.
  • System Integration Testing: Ensure traceability between test cases and business requirements, test system usability, and track defects until resolved.
  • User Training: Organize training sessions and prepare necessary training materials.
  • Implementation: Ensure successful rollout and provide post go-live support.
  • Liaison: Act as a bridge between business users and the technical team.

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Infocomm & Security, Information Technology or related discipline

  • Graduating in May 2026

  • Possess basic knowledge of SAP or general IT system support

  • Innovative, proactive and a multi-tasker with an inquisitive mind

  • Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel.

  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to reimagine the future of HealthTech
