The National Billing System (NBS) is one of the three major programmes that the Singapore public healthcare sector has embarked on to transform care delivery. NBS will deliver a national charging and billing system that provides a consistent experience for patients and healthcare professionals across more than 60 public healthcare institutions. Patients will benefit from an intuitive and transparent view of costs and subsidies, while healthcare clusters will enjoy streamlined billing processes and electronic inter-cluster billing, saving time and effort. NBS will also enable quicker and easier implementation of the new or revised government policies across healthcare institutions in Singapore.

The selected intern will participate but not limited to the following:

• Support the roll out of new National Billing System (NBS) to public healthcare institutions.
• Gain exposure to the SAP technology (S/4 HANA & BRIM) deployed in healthcare industry.
• Support on the testing with institutions users and external systems. 
• Understand the issues and work closely with project team to provide statistic for management reporting. 
• Work with vendors closely to track and fix the production tickets including resolution before releasing to end users for testing. 
• Support preparation for Go-Live activities such as production deployment, Full Dess Rehearsal, Cutover. 
• Collaborate with multiple institutions stakeholder and cross departments within the Synapxe to deliver the project successfully. 
• Provide go-live support.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Diploma in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related discipline
• Graduating in May 2027
• Proficient in word, excel and powerpoint
• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and a strong team player
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech

Interns will be expected to travel to other Public Healthcare Instutitions (PHIs).
