SingHealth Outpatient Administrative System(OAS) system is the current Patient Management Patient Accounting (PMPA) system that is used at all SingHealth institutions (hospitals, centres and polyclinics). OAS will be replaced by NGEMR by 2028. All Patient Management related data will hence be migrated from OAS to NGEMR.

Join us to be part of OAS team to be involved in project of data migration from OAS to NGEMR (Next Generation Electronic Medical Record) system by going through the different project lifecycle phases.

NGEMR represents a transformative leap in the way healthcare providers manage patient information. This innovative system integrates advanced technology to streamline patient data management, enhance communication among healthcare teams, and improve overall patient care. With features such as real-time data access, customizable interfaces, and robust security measures, NGEMR empowers healthcare professionals to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently. By harnessing the power of data analytics and artificial intelligence, NGEMR not only optimizes clinical workflows but also supports better patient outcomes, making it an essential tool in modern healthcare environments. The selected intern will participate but not limited to the following:

• Participate in the SIT and UAT sessions to understand the data requirements by NGEMR like data mapping between OAS and NGEMR, data conversion from OAS data to NGEMR data, data format, file format, etc
• Learn the testing skills on file transfer between systems, file format and data format verification to ensure the outcome is as per the requirement
• Work with various parties like Synapxe project teams, vendor and users to improve the communication skills and email writing skills

About you:

• Be pursuing a diploma in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related discipline
• Graduating in May 2027
• Innovative, proactive and a multi-tasker with an inquisitive mind
• Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
• Proficient in word, excel and powerpoint, Microsoft SQL
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
