Position Overview

 
The National Harmonised Integrated Pharmacy System (NHIPS) is one of the three major programmes that the Singapore public healthcare sector has embarked on to transform care delivery. NHIPS is an initiative under the National Pharmacy Strategy which aims to harmonise medication dispensing and streamline medication-related billing process through a common pharmacy platform. 

As part of the NHIPS, you are required to lead and support projects within Pharmacy domain. We are seeking a Project Manager with technical expertise in IT and related fields. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of network diagrams, firewalls, DNS, database setup, SMTP, SFTP, and the installation of applications, SQL, and frameworks. This role is crucial in ensuring that all project activities align with our company’s IT security policies. The Project Manager will coordinate with vendors and our internal teams to set up projects effectively, requiring a mix of technical knowledge and management skills. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage various projects, including IT infrastructure and other technical initiatives.
  • Ensure that project solutions meet our company’s policies and technical requirements.
  • Take charge of coordination with vendors and internal teams for the setting up the infrastructure for projects, including writing technical design specifications and provisioning virtual machines
  • Have a strong understanding of operating systems, networking, security, and automation tools.
  • Work with different cloud environments, including private, hybrid, and public clouds like AWS and Azure.
  • Prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects at once.
  • Pay close attention to details and ensure everything is done correctly.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Show a passion for innovation and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Take initiative and work independently with a focus on achieving results.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications, while optimizing costs.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT and technical projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, networking, security, and automation tools.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
