Position Overview

The Clinical Informatics team provides expertise in clinical data management, system integration and analytics to integrate technology and healthcare. Working with with healthcare and IT professionals, be part of the team that designs and implements solutions to improve patient care, operational efficiency and ultimately enhance population health
 

Role & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Gathering of requirements, design, testing and deployment of clinical systems and technologies.
• Provide leadership and guidance on the best clinical practices, to ensure safe and effective implementation of clinical IT Systems across all levels.
• Assist users to maintain clinical quality and patient safety across all clinical IT systems.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement to understand the systems/workflows, and ensure alignment with guidelines and policies.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provision of support, and identifying opportunities for innovation and deployment of new clinical information technologies and systems. 
• Support the Clinical Informatics Head to further develop clinical informatics across the healthcare sector. 

Requirements

Education / Skillset Requirements

• Professional degree or equivalent in Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy or Allied Health.
• At least two years of working experience in a clinical setting.
• Good understanding and knowledge of operation process in a clinical setting.
• At least two years of prior experience in configuring and troubleshooting electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
