Position Overview

The Entity Technology Planning Analyst provides critical analytical and administrative support to the Entity Technology Plans Office (ETPO). This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of technology planning processes by delivering in-depth analysis of demand, work planning, project progress as well as providing staffing support for technology planning assessments/ evaluations and studies which are led by ETPO over the course of its engagements. The Analyst also supports key stakeholder interactions, contributing to improved communication and decision-making within ETPO and with its entity partners. Project Administrator to coordinate project activities, including simple tasks and larger plans. Responsibilities include preparing action plans, analysing risks and opportunities and gathering necessary resources. For this role, you will work with a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Role & Responsibilities

1.    Demand and Work Planning Analysis:
•    Collect, validate, and analyze data related to entity IT demands and work plans.
•    Support the development and refinement of work planning processes, identifying areas for optimization.
•    Prepare reports and dashboards to track demand patterns, resource allocation, and planning cycle timelines.
•    Evaluate the impact of new demands on existing work plans and resource capacity.
•    Work closely with Synapxe SMP teams to facilitate support and resource allocations to IT demands through the course of the year.
 
2.    Project Progress and Conversion Analysis:
•    Monitor and analyze the progress of IT projects within the entity portfolio.
•    Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workplan commitment, conversion rates, and budget utilization.
•    Identify and investigate variances in project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
•    Provide insights and recommendations to improve project delivery and outcomes.
 
3.    Stakeholder Interaction Support:
•    Prepare materials for stakeholder meetings (e.g. QBRs, CIOMMs), including reports, presentations, and dashboards.
•    Document and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and key decisions.
•    Support the coordination of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other governance meetings.
•    Assist in managing communication and information flow between ETPO, entities, and Synapxe teams.
 
4.    Data Management and Reporting:
•    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work plans, budgets, project status, and stakeholder interactions.
•    Ensure data quality and integrity across ETPO systems and tools.
•    Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support ETPO planning and decision-making.
 
5.    Process Improvement:
•    Identify opportunities to streamline and automate ETPO processes.
•    Support the implementation of process improvements and best practices.
•    Contribute to the development of tools and templates to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

•    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    1 - 5 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role, preferably in an IT environment.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
•    Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
•    Familiarity with the healthcare IT landscape is an advantage.
