Senior Manager - PMO (NEHR Delivery)

Position Overview

The Senior PMO Manager for NEHR ("National Electronic Health Records") will supervise teams of project performance management, administration and resource management staff to support Programme and Project management duties across Planning, Delivery and Operations as part of the Programme.

Role & Responsibilities

•    Ensure alignment of the various IT performance metrics to have a coherent framework for performance management to support programme objectives, including Procurement;
•    Implement the tools, reports and dashboards including tracking of KPIs (e.g. types of funds, fund utilisation, system availability and security incidents) to enable performance management;
•    Establish the performance management cycle with regular reporting and follow up on the measurements;
•    Analyse data and work processes to identify root causes for non-performance and make recommendations for improvement through digitalisation; 
•    Prepare communication and reporting of overall IT performance towards key stakeholders; and
•    Act as extended resource within PMO to prepare funding and contract papers.
•    This is a team lead position for the Manager.

Requirements

•    Tertiary qualifications in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree;
•    Minimum 8 to 12 years of direct and relevant full-time working experience in Performance Management or similar role in an IT environment;
•    Self-motivated, driven, a good team player and strong ability to multi-task;
•    Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills; and
•    Proficient in business analytics and intelligence tools, software and dashboards is an advantage.
