Senior Manager - Resource Planning (Resource Management)

Position Overview

You will be part of Resource Management (RM) team. The RM support organisation-wide resource planning. This role is responsible to support RM initiatives in areas of resource management, such as strategic workforce planning, annual resource planning, allocation, utilization and manpower requisition processes. The aim is to effectively utilize and leverage appropriate resources to align with business strategy. You will provide input to enable effective resource management and deployment of resources based on business needs and skillsets required, also to provide analysis for resource utilization, assignment and availability based on current/future pipeline.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand their business strategy and develop an IT manpower strategy (ie. Strategic workforce planning) in achieving long-term sustainability of IT operations.
• Develop presentation materials and engage in stakeholder conversations articulating approach and recommendation.
• Manage, track and support on all resource management matter to PDs and PMs in areas of resource estimation, planning, sourcing, allocation and prioritization processes.
• Perform data analysis and build reports to facilitate various reviews and staffing forecast (eg. project utilization, resource optimization, project/ resource review).
• Facilitate workshops, minutes writing if required.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, HR or any other relevant discipline
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Resource Management, capacity planning, and strategic workforce planning
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, excellent problem-solving skills, good written/ communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and customer service skills
• A passion to learn new skills, a willingness to share knowledge with others
• Poised and professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
