Senior Manager - Technology Planner (NPPO)

Position Overview

Together with MOH, Synapxe is driving the technology development plans and systems to support the planning and implementation of a multi-year nation-wide Age Well SG initiative to transform the Community Care sector. It aims to support our seniors to age actively, stay socially connected and be cared for within their communities. Technology will enable interoperability and data exchange across the sector’s ecosystem.

As part of the National Programme Planning Office (NPPO), you are expected to work closely with our key partners from Government Ministries, Stat. Boards, agencies, service providers, and related stakeholders on technology planning and strategy for sector-wide digitalization.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work with different stakeholders’ agencies or workgroups to co-develop impactful technology development plan and strategy to realise the business and policy outcomes.
• Conduct research to discover market shift and trends in the related sectors and provide useful analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Look for new ways to apply emerging technologies to meet business needs and to foster productive or innovation culture.
• Apply methodology such as design thinking or user experience approaches and tools to deal with complex issues and to identify current state’s gaps and opportunities.
• Evaluate and recommend a range of possible solutions for future state’s roadmap and development while ensuring the overall strategic vision and directions are aligned.

Requirements

• Degree from a recognized university with some recent knowledge and experience with methodology such as design thinking or user experience.
• Participated in at least one complete cycle of application project or product development.
• Reliable team player that takes initiatives and willing to put in extra effort to ensure success.
• Keen and quick learner with a positive attitude in dealing with complexities and tough challenges and able to adept at balancing multiple projects/tasks concurrently.
• Possess problem-solving skills to identify issues accurately, communicates effectively, and handles conflicts constructively.
• Open to different perspectives and flexible to adjust to unexpected changes or challenges when necessary.
• Experience in technology planning and development in healthcare industry or community care sector is an advantage
