Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), the candidate will be the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Lead and will be responsible to oversee Synapxe TPRM policy, framework, programme and risk oversight. The candidate will work with Synapxe Procurement in particular the TPM-Enhance Programme (TPM-EP), an initiative to improve effectiveness of third party and vendor management and governance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Co-own Third Party risk-domain with Procurement
- Work with Procurement to enhance the current Synapxe-wide TPRM policy, framework, and governance including processes and tools
- Support with Procurement to establish a central TPM inventory and necessary TPRM infrastructure including risk associated with onboarding and on-going monitoring of Third Parties from a risk-domain perspective
- Design and deliver RSG TPRM reporting including risk exposure to internal and external threats, compliance and residual risk to Synapxe
- Incorporate GIA TPVM advisory audit (2024) recommendation
- Manage and enhance the governance model to provide ongoing monitoring and oversight of the risks posed by third-parties
- Work with Procurement to identify and escalate key items of concern regarding new and existing current third parties, including potential of concentration risks and chain-sourcing risk exposure
- Provide TPRM SME guidance & promote awareness on third party risk management
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification. Minimum 10 years focused expertise in third-party oversight, vendor governance, risk management, operational risks
- Third party vendor experience required with deep third-party risk technical knowledge
- Strong people management, internal consulting and partnering skills
- Able to conceptualise and operationalise policies into practice
