Senior Project Manager - AWS & Informatica

Position Overview

The Project Manager should have experiences in project / programme development, implementation and management of Information Technology (IT) systems. This role is supporting the Command, Control and Communications (C3) project which is a national system that provide real-time situation awareness to identify chokepoints in hospital operations and opportunity to improve critical resource utilization during peace time and crisis scenario (disease outbreak, civil emergencies).

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible to lead the implementation of Command, Control and Communications (C3) system for one or more hospitals in Singapore.
• Responsible for planning, budgeting/funding and procurement/contract renewals for systems under charge.
• Responsible for preparing approval papers, request for quotes/proposals, presenting to project stakeholders and execution of programme and technology refresh.
• Manage vendors during pre-assessment, procurement, contract awarding, implementation and maintenance.   
• Responsible for delivering the programme within the timeline.
• Work with Vendors and/or in-house Architects and Technical Project Manager to understand, analyze project requirements, evaluate and implement desired solutions for the system including system to system interfaces (batch or real-time) and protocols during the implementation and maintenance phase.
• Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware (Cloud) and software.
• Assess system performance, recommend improvements and work with vendors to implement the recommendations.
• Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to company’s recommendations, guidelines and policies.  
• Provide support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage contracts with external application vendors and software licenses’ principle vendors.
• Manage the various system deployment activities – patch management at nights and/or support critical patch implementation during weekends (if any).

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT projects and/ or analytics systems.
• At least 10 years of project management experience implementing multi-million dollar projects with a minimum 1 project with more than 2 million dollar worth of mandays.
• Must be cloud certified.   
• Good in-depth understanding of data warehouse concepts, data profiling, data verification and advanced analytics techniques.
• Experience in managing a team in project implementation or support is a must.
• Possess prior hands-on experience with technologies such as Informatica, .NET & MS-SQL database & messaging technologies.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders.
• Exposure to hospital information / clinical systems is an added advantage.
