Senior Systems Analyst - Business Analytics (Patient Ops)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to support the development, implementation, and integration of the Bed Management System (BMS) and other patient Ops systems within our Patient Operation Project Delivery department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL, system configuration and knowledge in healthcare workflows is a plus, combined with project management skills to ensure timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and configuration of the Bed Management System and other Patient Operation systems
• Perform data analysis and reporting using SQL to support decision-making and system optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with EMR, ADT, and other hospital systems
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during development and implementation phases
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for end-users
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful implementation
• Track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in system analysis or development
• Proficiency in SQL (queries, stored procedures, data extraction)
• Basic understanding of system integration concepts (APIs, HL7, FHIR preferred)
• Familiarity with database management and troubleshooting
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities.
• Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
