Position Overview

This position will have to work closely with across other institutional Cluster CIO Office team. You possess an analytical mind, and is able to see interconnections with system solutions and usability. Able to adopts a systematic approach in handling ambiguous or complex issues, and actively discusses your perspectives to arrive at effective solutions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with all relevant parties/stakeholders to advise business users on adoption/alignment of technologies and systems.
  • Support in the collation of business requirements of cluster stakeholders to recommend the appropriate IT solutions.
  • Perform year round cost assessment on enhancements and new requirements.
  • Participate in cluster/institution workgroup and committees to support cluster/institution IT initiatives.
  • Perform problem analysis, opportunities identification, improvement measures definition and proposal recommendation.
  • Support problem analysis, opportunities identification, improvement measures definition and proposal recommendation to supervisor, workgroup and management.
  • Support the cluster/ institution users in the yearly IT budget reviews.
  • Undertake any IT requests as directed by management in alignment with IHiS objectives and goals.
  • Support cluster institution’s ERM/BCP planning.
  • Coordinate and support the IT setup and participation for institution/cluster/national audits and exercises (e.g. JCI, DR, Mass Casualty,
  • Decontamination, Hospital Downtime exercises, Disease outbreak exercises, etc.).
  • Support and manage the tracking of KPIs for cluster/ institution initiatives (e.g. Clinical Documentation Adoption rate).
  • Assist in the verification and review of CAPEX and OPEX IT budget and utilization.
  • Support the cluster/institution IT management in providing the support and review of IT governance and approval processes.
  • Support cluster and institution in the review of IT policy and procedure.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience in MS Windows environment & application support.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Resourceful, proactive, flexible and has an excellent working attitude.
  • Good written and presentation skills.
  • Able to interact and work well with people at all levels.
  • Knowledge of business and IT in healthcare industry is an added advantage.
