Senior Systems Analyst

Position Overview

The Associate Integration Engineer applies subject matter knowledge in applications development, possessing well-developed skills in design, development, testing, debugging and implementing APIs or specialised utility programs in support of end users' needs on Integrations. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide on-going application support and be involved in various stages of the SDLC.
• Conduct user requirement analysis for the development/implementation of new systems and for enhancements to existing systems.
• Hands on in development work on message parsing for data transformation through Javascripts and message mapping tools.
• Hands on in development work for webservices and webservices technology for both SOAP and RESTful webservices, including understanding on 2-way SSL encryption for the webservices.
• Design and orchestrate the data flow from upstream system to downstream systems to meet the solution requirements.
• Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems.
• Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.
• Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing for any system implementations or enhancements.
• Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.
• Liaise closely with functional analysts in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
• Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation.
• Play as teamleader role to drive the project and coach the junior members

Requirements

• work cohesively with your team members to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are completed according to schedule.
• 5 years experiences in enterprise software development
• Proficient in either Java and .Net
• Experience in popular commercial cloud such as AWS or Azure. Candidate with commercial cloud certification have advantage.
• Rich knowledge about the integration using API and web services (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT)
• Strong understanding about the security in the enterprise software environment
• Strong knowledge to handle the HA and DR scenarios
• Ability to quickly grasp & learn new technologies
• Candidate shall have strong understanding and experience about programing and algorithm.
• Good communication skills and experience working with technical teams and management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good grasp of SDLC principles and best practices.
• Proficient in Office Productivity tools, eg. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in Application Integration development is an added advantage.
• Experience in healthcare industry and healthcare integration is an added advantage.
• Experience in Knowledge in working with HL7
• Experience in Rhapsody and APIGateway is a strong advantage.
• Experience in MS Windows environment, Unix/Linux environment & application support.
• Experience in cloud like aws, ibm, google cloud or azure
• Degree or Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
