Position Overview

Application system support for ASP .NET outpatient systems. 24/7 primary application maintenance standby support is expected. Relevant experience in project, user & vendor management preferred. Able to work independently

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support, when required
  • Monitor closely and review system health and performance of business applications, including servers, internal/external interface endpoints and databases
  • Coordinate and participate in regular system maintenance, patching and upgrade activities, including yearly disaster recovery exercises
  • Liaise closely with various support teams to test and deploy application patches, defect fixes to production environment in accordance with project methodologies and policies
  • Liaise closely with vendors to troubleshoot application bugs, evaluate potential fixes, testing and deployment of fixes to production
  • Liaise closely with business users & other Synapxe teams and build good rapport
  • Participate in hospital’s business contingency activities, eg, mass casualty/contact tracing exercise, call tree/BCP table top exercise, etc
  • Manage the setup and configuration of systems
  • Experience in application and helpdesk support

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems using Microsoft .NET / MS SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
  • Result and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
  • Ability to work under a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  •  Active team player and communicate effectively with others
