Service Management Manager (GCC)

Position Overview

This national healthcare programme consolidates and provides patient health data to serve national health needs and supports healthcare professionals to serve their patients better. The programme is part of a national healthcare ecosystem and supports the digitization and connection with other national healthcare programmes. This is an important role to rebuild and migrate to GCC (Government on Commercial Cloud). The Project Manager needs to work closely with the internal and external key stakeholders for the project planning, scoping, execution, and control, to ensure a smooth transition from the on-premise data centre to cloud environment. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage AFM and TFM - GCC Project Operations
• Develop and implement project plan and strategies to ensure a smooth setup and migration from on-premise environment to the cloud.
• Managing a cross-functional team with multiple internal and external stakeholders to execute the project.
• Perform scoping and coordination of assessments and drive assessments to delivery
• Manage and resolve project related issues in an effective way.
• Keep track of the project schedule to ensure it is carried out in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationship with team members, stakeholders and partners.
• Communicate project status and results to stakeholders and ensure effective communications.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements to achieve optimal resource utilization.
• Enforce use of best practices and frameworks for project implementation.
• Track project deliverables and ensure projects are completed within budget, schedules and quality standards.
• Identify, manage and track issues, risks and dependencies that affect the delivery of the project outcome.
• Present reports and project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Deliver projects in line with agreed standards, providing fit for purpose solutions within constraints.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 – 15 years’ experience in with at least 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in developing, implementing, maintaining and migrating IT systems in the Cloud (Preferably AWS and GCC)
• Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in one or more of the following types of project implementations: Infrastructure and --Security, web-based applications, UI/Mobile, data migration.
• Possess leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders.
• Strong critical skills such as collaboration, oral, written and verbal communication skills and analytical capability.
• Increased acumen for planning, strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Strong planning and time management skills.
• People, result, and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities.
