Software Engineer - Data Operations - (Software Development)

Position Overview

We are hiring a Data Operations Engineer for a new large-scale National Healthcare IT System

Role & Responsibilities

• Accountable for the fulfilment of the system’s roles and responsibilities as one of the HealthierSG data single source of truth   
• Publish and enforce data definitions for established data subjects
• Plan and Prioritise onboarding requests, track and report contributor & consumer onboarding status
• Ensure data availability to data consumers, and provide timely communications in cases of disruptions
• Respond to enquiries on data quality and inform the relevant data contributor promptly
• Receive and apply corrections provided by data contributors
• Identify and establish measures on on-going basis to proactively detect data quality issues and follow up with the respective data contributors for timely data corrections, as well as implementation of preventive measures
• Provide regular reporting of data quality issues to internal and external stakeholders, data owner, and track all data quality issues till closure
• Ensure compliance to both internal and external SLAs

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or related discipline​​​​​​
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
• Hands on experience on SQL/.net
• Possesses good verbal and written communication across all levels of personnel with proven ability to translate complex, technical subjects into clear and concise communications to a variety of key stakeholders
• Pro-active, independent, and able to react quickly and resolve issues promptly
• Experience in Healthcare domain is an added advantage
