The aim of the project is to develop an image recognition model to identify different aspects of an object, for example colour, texture and shape, which could be potentially used for disease and characteristics classification in tongue image recognition. The intern(s) will learn data generation and data augmentation to facilitate model development, and will learn and compare different algorithms and techniques in image recognition and segmentation.

The intern(s) will also learn to communicate data science problems / insights in business language for potential stakeholders, and develop use cases with appropriate data sets to support practical solutions

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Graduating in May/Dec 2025 or May 2026
• Strong coding skills in Python programming language for image processing and model development
• Ability to communicate effectively and present results and findings
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech

The intern's work location will be at 1 Maritime Square #12-01 Harbourfront Centre Singapore 099253.
