The National Harmonised Integrated Pharmacy System (NHIPS) is one of the three major programmes that the Singapore public healthcare sector has embarked on to transform care delivery.

NHIPS is an initiative under the National Pharmacy Strategy which aims to harmonise medication dispensing and streamline medication-related billing process through a common pharmacy platform. It replaces, consolidates and harmonises disparate pharmacy systems, data and workflows across public healthcare institutions. It standardises medication terminologies and formularies and delivers a central data repository for all medication-related information, facilitating information exchange and integration with over 20 systems. This enables pharmacists to deliver seamless and more consistent service to patients.

The selected intern(s) will participate but not limited to the following:

•Support the ongoing testing with NHIPS for remaining NHG sites

•Support user requirements and reviewing of the documentation for NHG Cluster Electronic Queue Management System (EQMS)

•Participate in full-cycle SDLC activities from user requirements gathering, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, project management and stakeholder management

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering and Media, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field
• Graduating in May/Dec 2025 or May 2026
• Possess business analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess a baseline knowledge of system architecture, network and IT security
• Exercise computational thinking to digest and resolve large complex issues.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
