Public Healthcare Institutions operate and manage Medical Device & Operation Technology (MDOT) in their respective entities. Threats and vulnerabilities are present in the devices and risks need to be managed to prevent any impact to operations and patient safety.
The Medical Device Oversight Committee Programme (MDOC) team in Cyber Defence Group - Policy, Risk & Capability Development department ensures programs and capabilities are developed to address the above risks.
The team is looking for an intern to join us in the MDOC programme. Responsibilities include but not limited to:-
- Participate in the development of Vulnerability Management Programme for Medical Device & Operation Technology (MDOT) in Public Healthcare Instituitions (PHIs).
- Support the establishment of monitoring & detection capability of MDOT in Public Healthcare.
- Co-lead the development of Risk Assessment Framework and centralised risk repository for MDOT.
- Arrange the consultation meetings with PHIs, document minutes of meeting and provide summary for management inputs.
About you:
- Be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or related discipline
- Graduating in May/Dec 2025 or May 2026
- IT Security / IT Risk: Familiarity with IT General Controls, Cybersecurity concepts, risk management framework, comprehend vulnerability findings, assessment & remediation measures.
- Attention to Details: Having a keen eye for detail is crucial when working with compliance data, as accuracy and precision are essential for reporting and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: The ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams is important for gathering data, conducting analysis, and implementing compliance reporting solutions.
