HEALIX is the first comprehensive cloud-based analytics platform for the entire public healthcare sector. It deploys leading edge cloud-native tools, supporting the rapid development of AI models to improve patient care. It brings together the public healthcare sector’s data needs on a single platform, and opens up collaborative possibilities and efficiencies to reap the benefits of data driven insights and AI. Additionally, Business Research Analytics Insights Network (BRAIN) is deployed as national/common analytics platform to support the Ministry, agencies, Public Health Institutions (PHIs) by bringing data together, linking patients, harmonising data, anonymising data, providing common toolsets and capabilities and collaborating in secured environment.

The selected interns will assist in the live validation and post-live support phases of Secure Smart Data Hub (SSDH) projects, ensuring data accuracy and ETL functionality for the Business Research Analytics Insights Network (BRAIN) system. Additionally, interns will also support preparation and deployment artefacts, providing post-live support until project handover.

As part of the AIC HEALIX team, the selected intern will partake in the following duties:

• Preparing Table Creation in ETL (DDL) for new systems in collaboration with Functional Analysts.
• Testing new source systems.
• Preparing for data catch-up from on-prem.
• Validating data between on-prem and HEALIX (EBIS & BRIGHT - national source systems data).
• Reviewing long-running jobs and suggesting performance improvement solutions.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Graduating in May/Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Knowledge of ETL processes (e.g., IDMC)
• Basic programming skills in Python
• Proficiency in SQL scripting
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Familiar with AWS workspace environment and Databricks
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
